My kid really wants this, and even wants to save his own money to buy, but seems pretty expensive for plastic. Why is it worth it?

Excellent question which I also pondered until I learned that these little service vehicles are not just plastic toys, intended for people 14 years of age and above. These vehicles go with the airport terminal and Mats, and of course Model airplanes, which are NOT TOYS. The airport service vehicles are made to scale 1:400 of actual size, the same scale as the model airplanes.
