The product was extremely well packaged for safe shipping. It comes with extra bulbs. The wiring and connectors are well designed to resist outdoor weather. I should know, I install hardware on communication towers in a marine saltwater environment.. ! The remote is easy to operate and select numerous different patterns. I wanted a simple twinkle, multicolor, which it had. Inside the 2.5" globe is a red, blue, green, yellow and white mini LED. Plenty bright without being obnoxious. Because the bulb is round, it reflects these chips making it appear there are maybe a dozen twinkling lights in each bulb. It's so well made, I'm not even going to take it down, I'm leaving it in place for next year. The overall length is accurate, just enough for what I needed with the maximum 2 lengths. The plug transformer is very small using just a normal space in an outlet. The power draw for the lighting is tiny since they are very small LEDs. The built in Timer is Great..making this a complete install without anything else required. One note is that the transformer is probably not waterproof, I placed it inside my garage. If plugged in outside, I would use a small waterproof electric extension cord into a waterproof plastic box or tupperware to protect it if your outside plug is in a rain location. I'm very pleased, so are my neighbors, lots of positive comments.

These lights are so nice. Not as large as some others Ive had but they are so beautiful to me that the size doesn't matter and they will probably fair better in the windy weather we have since they are a little smaller. The different styles of the lighting options are awesome. I bought the lights that have the plain white option or multi color and I am able to select variations that have both the white and multi option together in rotation. So subtle that you hardly notice them changing. The time option is so nice. I no longer have to either leave them on all the time or remember to switch them on because they come on at the same time every night. The only con is that the remote does not work from a distance. You have to be quite close to the plug to get the remote to work. LOVE LOVE LOVE these lights!

I bought two strings of these lights and they work very well. The options for lighting are great. However, I give this product only four stars because the two spare bulbs per string are not enough. I used three of the four total spare bulbs provided because right out of the box three bulbs weren’t working. I have been unable to find replacements. I can get other G40 bulbs but they are not like these. Looking at “Answered Questions” I saw a reply from the vendor that they might be offering sets of four bulbs but I don’t see them offered on Amazon, or anywhere else for that matter. I’d suggest you buy one extra string to get enough replacements.

The media could not be loaded. I got these lights for my new apartment, but i havnt move just yet. I opened the box to check to see if everything was ok after shipping and to just check them out and they are awesome! they are very nicely packaged to keep from breaking and you get 2 extra bulbs. You can change the settings on the remote or use the button on the cord close to the plug in. The box has very good instructions on what each setting means and how to get there. I will say i did think they could be both white or multicolored and mine are only the multicolored which is still great i just wish i would have had the variety

These are really pretty lights. I bought one set for Christmas lighting and liked them so much that I bought another. The first set appeared to have gone through some rough handling during shipping, and on opening the box I found three broken bulbs. I contacted the seller using the email address provided in one of the comments to another review, and he immediately shipped out replacement bulbs. Great customer service.I put these on a small tree outside my house. Because the distance between the lights was less than 1 foot, I found a second set was needed for better coverage. I may even go for a third string next Christmas.There are 8 modes on the remote to control the flashing. I preferred the non-flashing mode, but my wife liked one of the flashing ones. So flashing it is.

First of all, these bulbs are NOT shatterproof. I was not rough with them at all. In fact, I was very careful with them. They shattered quite easily. They are not bright at all. You don't want these if you want to use them to "light up" your space. That said, they lasted me two Summer seasons until they quit (my guess is water got into them which would suggest they are not totally waterproof). In some of the bulbs, you could see the water resting in them. They are very pretty when lit up and definitely added a nice touch to my deck, but I learned a lot. My next outdoor lighting purchase will be plastic bulbs.

I had purchased two strings of these in 2021 and have them strung in my back yard. They are subtle but festive and colorful. Great lighting. The remote works well and they provide extra replacement lights for when a bulb burns out. Purchased these two strings to put in my side yard. Based on experience with the others I am confident they will look great!

We wanted to spend more time in our backyard so ordered these lights. They were easy to setup and use the remote control. The multi color was beautiful in the evenings. The lights did great with wind gusts, rain and snow. Sadly a ice storm took down our tree they were hanging. Lights and wiring broke but only cause the tree broke in pieces before falling completely over. Although we no longer have that tree. I would definitely recommend and buy these again.
