Let me start off with the fact that I have extremely sensitive skin. Most acne products cause me more harm than good, drying me out and flaking and redness. Sometimes they'll work at first then just make my skin look awful. I didn't have acne as a kid, just a pimple here or there, but now as an adult I'm having some. This product is the FIRST product that has successfully gotten rid of my constant breakouts AND done so without harming my skin. I didn't take a before photo because honestly, I had low expectations. And at first, within the first 3 days I was scared because it initially made my breakout look 10X worse because all the pimples came to a head and it extracted up even more oil and pimples than I had before using it. And during that time Step 2 (cleansing gel) STUNG like crazy bad, freakin burning. But after some days I don't feel anything when I put it on now. After those first few days, slowly but surely, my skin started clearing up and actually started looking SUPER HEALTHY! I have a nose! It should be noted that I ONLY used the product on areas with pimples (between eyebrows, nose, under nose and on the chin) because I get super dry on my cheeks and upper forehead and figured I didn't need acne medication in areas that didn't have acne. I've had the product for almost 3 weeks now and I still have plenty. You don't have to use much, one pump gives me a nice thin layer for all of those areas. Extremely pleased with this purchase and will by again when I get close to running out!

This face wash is one of the best salicylic acid washes I've found that is fragrance free. It's gentle, effective, and cleared my active pimples within a week. A lot of the negatives reviews seem to be from people who didn't use it correctly, so I want to give some pointers so you can get the most out of this product: - DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO ASPIRIN. Salicylic acid is from the same family of compounds. - DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR TRYING TO GET PREGNANT. Salicylic acid is not safe for use during pregnancy. - ALWAYS DO A PATCH TEST BEHIND YOUR EAR. Even if you don't have a known allergy to any of the ingredients, it's better safe than sorry. Okay, so with all that out of the way, here's what I did to get the best results: - Don't use this as an actual "cleanser". It's a treatment face wash, and it's not really a good idea to use anything with Salicylic acid to remove makeup either, especially around your eyes. This is true whether you have sensitive skin or not. Instead, use a makeup remover (or cleansing oil or whatever) to remove the makeup first, then do a quick wash with a really creamy cleanser (I used CeraVe Hydrating), THEN use a dime-size amount of the Neutralyze and apply it like you would a face mask (avoiding the eye area, lips, nostrils, etc). Leave it on for 1-2 minutes and wash it off, then follow up with a moisturizer IMMEDIATELY on WET skin and let it dry. This will help prevent your skin from drying out since you essentially "triple cleansed". Even better if the moisturizer has ceramides in it. If daytime, follow up with sunscreen after the moisturizer dries. If nighttime, you're good to go. Maybe do another layer of moisturizer. - If you're not wearing makeup, you can do a spot cleanse with a creamy cleanser around your eyes and then apply the Neutralyze on the rest of your face. - Don't use it in the same routine as tretinoin/Retin-A, adapalene/Differin, or any retinol for that matter. They will inactivate each other and dry the crap out of your face for good measure. Use it the morning after retinol or maybe the next night, just not at the same time. You can use it with Benzoyl Peroxide, but tread with caution, since BP is drying as hell. - Start off with once every other day. If that works for you, great. If not, then you can slowly build up to once or twice a day. Not everyone needs to use this twice a day to see best results. - Active acne will calm down first, within a week or two. Blackheads and sebacious filaments will take a bit longer and any dark spots (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or eythema/redness) will take the longest to go. - If you start breaking out worse with the use of this product, and you've done all of the above, and ruled out any allergies, you may just be purging, especially if you've never used Salicylic Acid before. This means whatever pimples were underneath your skin and were going to surface at some point anyway are coming up all at once. Again, this is true whether or not your skin is sensitive, and it doesn't mean that this is a bad product. Give it a chance and stick through it for 6 weeks, because that's generally how long salicylic acid takes to show best results and in most cases, it gets much worse before it gets better. Moisturize your skin, don't overwhelm it with too many active ingredients, and you should be fine. After going through all of the above, if you still hate it after 6 weeks, by all means toss it. Sorry for the wall of text, but I hope the above info helps someone! P.S. This is also amazing for softening up keratosis pilaris (AKA chicken skin or goose skin) on your arms and legs. Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this product and I hope they never change or discontinue it.

To whom it may concern, I am an adult woman who suffers from moderate acne which is quite embarrassing when you're in your early 30s. So I went online on Amazon to research acne products and was actually set on ordering Proactive, as I had used this in the past with moderate results. However, during my research I came across the Neutralyze skin care line and started reading all of the amazing testimonials and reviews. I decided to try this product not only for myself but for my 17 year old son who is a senior this year and has senior pictures coming up. The reviews all said that you could see results in as little as 2 to 3 days and significant results within 2 to 3 weeks. This really got my attention and I'm so glad I chose this product. Have been using it for several weeks now along with my son, and we have seen amazing results! When they say that you can see Improvement within a couple of days, that's not a gimmick, that's absolutely true! And within a couple of weeks I can see significant change in my skin, from my complexion looking much more fresh a d bright, instead of dull like it was before. I've also noticed that my skin where I used to have dark spots, has started to all become one consistent skin tone. I used to suffer from rosacea mildly and this has also significantly reduce the redness to my skin. I would absolutely tell anyone who's suffering from acne to give this a try over much wider known products as I've had amazing results along with my son, who obviously is thrilled as this is his senior year. It makes him and I much more confident, and makes me feel wonderful that I can do something to boost my son's self-esteem as he struggled with acne for years now. And as an adult woman myself, it's significantly boosted my self-esteem as I thought those acne years should have been over a long time ago. I'd also like to add as a side note that I had an issue with my delivery, through no fault of Neutralyze but through the post office, I contacted Neutralyze through Amazon immediately to let them know the circumstances, and within a day they had reached out to me and fixed the issue completely, through no cost to me at all! Amazing customer service, amazing product, definitely 5 stars, and will continue to use as long as it's available! Thank you so much Neutralyze❣🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

So, I was given an opportunity to try out this product from @neutralyzeskincare for skin with moderate to severe acne. Now, even though I have neither, I do still get hormonal acne. Really thought by this age, I wouldn't be dealing with acne especially since I have fairly dry/combo skin, but hormonal acne is that icky, under the skin cystic kind that you can feel coming on and kinda hurts and if you're like me, you can't stop messing with your face and then your face looks a mess from picking. So, I said yes to trying out this product. I was not paid to try it, but the product was provided to me. It is a nice and easy 3 part system - step 1. Wash; step 2. Repair (this can be stingy, so I used as a spot treatment thinking this was likely the drying step); and step 3. Heal. I read the reviews first and lots of people talked about how drying it is, so I took that into consideration knowing my own skin and used it on March 17th & 18th and only spot treated with step 2 rather than putting on my full face. I am glad that I did because it is very drying for my skin, BUT it completely stopped the hormonal acne in it's place. I continued using my moisterizing serums, oils and sunscreen because I knew how my skin would dry out. It made my skin dry and flaky in the spots I used step 2. - sort of how it does when I do a chemical peel - I don't mind this if it gets rid of the acne, I just increased my moisterizing. I think this product would be great for those with moderate to severe acne, but everyone should start out slow to see how their skin reacts and to figure out how to adjust using it so it works for your skin. It can work really well for you. Today is the 22nd and the hormonal acne that I could feel on the 17th is no longer there and it never turned into that ugly cystic bump, so that is success in my book. It won't be my daily routine because I don't have bad acne any longer, but when I was younger I did, and I think this could really work for people with moderate to severe acne. I do think finding a good sunscreen that doesn't upset your skin and can keep it moisterized while using this product is also very important.
