it's a great set. too bad the spatula is plastic. it does handle heat well, but it's not silicon. not an issue at all. it's still good, just a note on what to expect.

A useful set of kitchen essentials from a brand best known for its utensils aimed at the diabaled, elderly and others with grip or mobility issues; these are for everyone else. Some other Good Grips utensils have seen many years of use and still have life left in them after being used almost daily; these should be no different.The tools are well-balanced and feel comfortable in the hand. The turner/fish slice is strong and not unduly flexible, well able to hold some considerable weight if needs be. The spatula is thick and stiff which will be ideal for thicker mixtures and is the perfect companion to a softer spatula also used. The tongs have a slide-to-lock/release tang and will open far wider than is likely ever to ne needed.Excellent value even at Amazon's normal price but far better value as a Cyber Monday deal.

Great product, easy to use. Much better than cookware from the dollar store. Buy a better quality product, since you are using this with your food. Saving a few dollars on dollar store items that don't last and can melt and possibly go into your food. I'd rather spend a little more and feel better about eating chemical free foods.

A really great and useful little set which everyone needs in their life especially if you own non stick pans!The tongs are great for turning things in a pan and they lock really nicely for storing them away.The turner/fish slice thing is really versatile and can actually hold quite a bit of weight.The spatula is my favourite! Not only is it great for baking but also for scrambled eggs or pancakes.

First off, the price of this set was very good when I purchased it. It was only about 20% higher than buying any single one of these pieces indivudually.Second, I have not had any problems with the quality of my tongs or spatula. They hold up very well to everything I've put them through, even frying in hot grease on the stove. The only damage that my tongs have taken were when they were directly exposed to the fire of my gas stove after I had sat them down in an inappropriate place. This was my own fault, and they still only had minimal damage.The spatula, while I greatly enjoy using it and find it easy to clean, seems like it could be better. I usually just clean it by hand, but sometimes I do toss it in the dishwasher, especially if I have finished cooking for the day and know I won't need it for a while. The rubber along the edges of the blade is shorn a bit. I'm not sure if these fragments have come off in the washing machine or other times, but I have noticed it when inspecting the blade. Additionally, the blade does not connect very well with the handle. They are easily separable. This hasn't been a problem with most things but stirring thicker batters has caused me to lose the head in the mix. Still, it is my favorite mixing and stirring spatula at the moment, and I would recommend this set, especially over purchasing the items individually.
