Just line it up (I put the seam at the bottom, in the 6 o'clock position) and for me, I started out fitting it around the bottom of the wheel, then worked along the sides and finally gave it some good stretches up and over the top. I knocked it one star just because I did notice a loose thread near the top once I'd finished installing. It may be fine, but I know in the case of my old one, once those threads start to come loose, they all seem to follow.
