Alka-Seltzer Plus Maximum Strength Powermax Liquid Gels, Cold & Cough, 16 Count

Did not receive capsules, received upset stomach product. In addition package was already opened and missing some contents. So basically received used medicine. Tried to return it, and return label keeps returning it to me.

This didn’t help me that much.

My wife contracted a bad cold/flu. It's been lingering for over a week now. Pesky weather changes. Anyways, she was coughing up flem, had a nasty head ache, was feverish, hot and cold at the same time, shivering, aches and pains. She couldn't sleep either because her up nose was stuffed up. We tried this Alka-Seltzer power max liquid gels to help at least with the sinus . This med helped relieve the sinus issue along with many other symptoms namely the coughing and head ache. She could sleep. This saved us a trip to the ER. I am happy to report she is feeling much better now. Today she ate some eggs and toast with some coffee. She is almost her self again. In a nut shell, this Alka-Seltzer cold remedy really helped. It's very comparable to Robitussin Sinus and cold. I'm not saying this is a miracle cure. It's not. It helps relieve some of the symptoms of cold/flus to a great degree. I'm glad we had it. 5 stars.

I am a teacher with limited sick days, so taking time off due to a cold is not an option. Therefore, I rely on effective medicines to get me through my day.I have been using Alka Seltzer products for years, and this product is no exception to their effective line of products. What I love about this product is that the soft gels make it easy to swallow - even if your throat is swollen and uncomfortable from the cold. No more feeling like a pill is stuck in my throat or even choking on a pill - this form saves the day!I also appreciate the fact that it targets multiple symptoms, instead of just one. It knocks out the cough, which is one of the most embarrassing, annoying parts of colds for me, but it also eradicates the body aches I usually get, as well.I think the price is comparable and fair. I would recommend this product, and this brand, to others, and I will definitely consider purchasing in the future.

I have a hard time swallowing pills due to constricted esophagus so I appreciate the smaller size of these pills. I didn't detect much of a difference between the effectiveness of these vs some of my other brands--I also often use Coricidin to work with my blood pressure issues better. These were satisfactory but not magical for me like they have been apparently for some. So these were fine and I will keep them around for the next cold, but they weren't the magic elixir to relieve all my symptoms and make my cold seem like nothing. But colds hit me hard and no drug really makes them easier for me.
