3.14 Follow up - 3 months. I have used my bags at Target, Trader Joes, and Safeway. Bags are solid and sturdy and have not failed me one bit. Totally the best! They look good too.I am very happy with my purchase. It arrived on time, well packaged and without issue. The bag is very well made, of good material (it is slightly ribbed for extra strength), folds nicely into its pouch. When the bag is open, the pouch turns into an inside pocket great for keys, change, etc. I don't drive but use public transportation, I was walking around the city with my bag carrying a very heavy book, a bottle of wine, an umbrella, and some other items; the bag held up well while being pushed around in the subway and on the bus. A smart purchase.

My current "fold up and reuseable" bags are beginning to fray at the edges and seams so it was time to look for their replacements. I researched many on Amazon and chose the deMachinor USA ripstop bags. Upon receiving my order, I found that I had mistakenly only ordered 1 bag instead of 5 bags. I thought, "Ugh, red tape", but I composed an inquiry with whether I could sent the one bag back w/o additional return shipping fees and then order the 5 bags or... what could be done.Within a very short time, I received a very clear and amiable way for my problem to be solved. Oliver, the customer service rep who wrote back made this experience so wonderful. I would return to purchase something from this company in a snap.About the bag itself... I am very pleased with the construction, the thickness of the fabric, and the size of the bag. My current bags have a seam along the top of the handle and so I have needed to repair my bags due to this faulty construction. These new bags are seamless at the handles so I hope they will last much longer than my current ones that are ready to retire. The only suggestion I would make is for the bags to have a loop attached securely so that I can hook them onto my clip in my purse.

I like the bag because it folds into a neat square which is easy to slide inside my coat pocket or even the pocket of my jeans. other bags that wad into small pockets are more bulky and more conspicuous. I have only used the bag a few times for trips to Target, so I can not speak to the durability of the stitching, but I have had not problems. When I go grocery shopping (especially at Aldi's), I prefer a bag with more rigid material than this one that can stand on its own and be more easily filled when I am emptying my cart, but in other stores, the attendant just hooks the bag on the plastic bag holder and fills it up.I was initially concerned about the direction of the straps while carrying the bag, but there has not been a problem with the bag rubbing against my leg so far. Yet, if I wanted to carry it over my shoulder, it might be more problematic.It's a nice bag. I bought one to test it out. I will buy a few more.

The product is as described. It appears to be very durable. I would buy it again.

Strong bag but the design does not allow for it to stay on the shoulder.

Small. Not easy to pack. does not stand up on its own.
