I've read reviews complaining about the size of the spikes. I wanted to clarify that their size is regulated by a regular key, as it should be. If you have a lot of dirt, use 100% if it's a regular road, use 10% as I did.

At half the price of similar peddles in the local bike store, these are perfect mountain biking pedals - really solid feeling, the studs grip your shoes like glue. the broad extra wide flat surface gives you a grounded feeling so you don't feel like you're falling off the edges. I'm only at the 6month usage level so can't really comment in durability but working like new so far. You better wear shin guards or sturdy pants because the compromise of having grippy metal studs is that they will cut your ankle skin if you scrape against them.
