It has a good grip, the clip easily slides over the outside of my pocket. It's heavy for it's size, which is a testament to it's construction quality. Mind you, I've just purchased this and have only had it for a few days. I will definitely report back again at a later date if it falls apart within the next year, or if it holds up like a champ over several years. At just over 40 bucks, it would be an excellent value if I kept this for a couple of years of EDC use, and then retired it as like a part of a tackle box or something like that, and got many more use out of it.
