Amazing Product by LG
Amazing product by LG. Got this product for 70k and is worth every penny. A true experience of 4K and the sound is also too good as compared to other TV's. The nano bezel is amazing. You can find display to the end. Satisfied with the product. LG also provided it's wall mounting worth ₹5000 and a jio-fi for free.

TV is good. Delivery is not
Review will be in two parts:Delivery experience:Product is shipped by Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), which is by far the worst courier in India. They will scan your product as delivered even though it's not. Repeated calls to delivery executive will go unanswered and eventually he will block your number. Follow up needed with customer care, who will start their investigation and then deliver your product a week later with some lame excuse. All the while you need to live with the anxiety of paying almost 70k and then not being sure whether your product will arrive or not. Horrible delivery service by Amazon. My recommendation is to never purchase high value items from Amazon, especially if delivery is by ATS.Product experience:Picture quality - HD and 4K content is excellent and even SD content is good. I have not found the need to switch to HD channels yet. Colour is good, viewing angles are great. One issue I found was the local dimming feature, which turns off backlighting for vertical patches of the screen in case you are viewing a dark scene. This feature is very different from array dimming, and gives a different experience, which I didn't like. It's very distracting. However the effect is noticeable only in a dark room, and not when there is sufficient lighting.Sound quality - Sound is excellent and loud, with different modes available. My living room is pretty big and I haven't found the need for a sound bar, even though they are down firing speakers.Build quality - unit is very thin. Only the bottom edge has a very narrow bezel, with a good metal finish. The other 3 edges have almost no bezels at all. This improves the look of the tv and the viewing experience. You get a table top stand, but I got a flexible wall mount installed for free from the technician, which is better. However, you need to be careful while adjusting the tv angles on the wall mount because the tv is very thin and excess force will bend it.Installation - Installation was delayed because of delivery delay by Amazon. First appointment was cancelled by LG due to delay, and I was told to book another appointment, but follow up was quick. Installation was smooth, but explanation of features was hurried, which was not a problem as I was aware of most features.Software - Tv comes with webOS, not android. LG content store has most common apps like YouTube, hotstar, voot, prime, Netflix etc. The user interface is very simple and easy to use.Other - Magic remote is amazing and so convenient to use. Wifi and Bluetooth connect well. You can use pendrives to play media. Tv recognises most common media formats. This tv has been a good addition to my home. I did not want to spend more money on Sony TV's as I use this tv rarely and only my parents watch few cable channels. So for regular use, its value for money. I got the 55inch for 67k and comparable Sony TV's were more than 80k. Was initially worried about upscaling of SD channels, but was satisfied with what I got. Dark scenes are nowhere near OLED quality, but apart from that, it's a good buy.Cheers.

For this price range; higher expectations
Have used this tv for over a year now hence a detailed issues related reviewYou will need to play with the video settings a lot to get close to a almost perfect picture outputLocal led dimming has weird horizontal panels that light up - clearly irritatingIn built app video quality for netflix is very average; use a 4k amazon firestick for better resultsThe hdr video has a slight but noticeable lagThe tv makes popping sounds of and onBacklight bleeds for dark scenes unless you figure out the perfect video settingFor the price range its a bit disappointing, should have waited patiently for the oneplus with qledThe horizontal panel dimming froze on a side recently on a movie and had to be rebootedI don’t use the os interface at all so doesn’t matterThe tata sky hd works well; however needs setting tweaksIm worried that the panel one day will have some brightness or color scortch; hope that never happensInbuilt sound quality is good; soundbar is recommended for the bass boost thoughHdr format remains to be an issue; makes me regret not buying an oled/qledOverall it is a decent television however for the proce point the trivial issues need a software fixScreen mirroring has some lags in gamingIf only the hdr mode issues get fixed that will be a great relief and increase my rating quotientOn the tv stand the tv unit happens to move scarily if you happen to brush against itThe tv remote is bulky; hardly use it thoughExternal Alexa pairing is slightly strange; works off and onThe sound output allows Bluetooth pairing which is cool for heaphone mode viewingFew software fixes and loads of picture settings and you are good to go🤟🏻
