As an avid earplug buyer I have tried many different earplugs over the years. These are hands down the best earplugs I’ve ever purchased! I use them every night for sleeping, and they have honestly made such a huge difference. My husband has sleep apnea and can be a very loud sleeper, and before finding these, it was extremely difficult for me to sleep in the same room with him. These block out so much noise that I’m finally able to sleep comfortably next to him again! They’re comfortable enough to wear throughout the entire night and actually stay in place. If you’re a light sleeper or share a room with someone who snores, I cannot recommend these enough. The only downside is they work a little TOO well—I can’t hear my alarm in the morning! 😂😂 Best problem to have. 10/10!

I have worked night shift for 8 years, and these ear plugs are perfect for sleeping. They are comfortable and do not leave my ears sore. They keep all the daytime noises at bay so I can sleep peacefully. Just because I sleep during the day, my household doesn’t. With 3 kids, my wife, and 2 dogs it can get noisy during the day. These ear plugs ensure that I am not bothered. Definitely worth the small investment to ensure a restful sleep.

I have used several brands of earplugs over the years for sleeping. These are by far the best. I have a noisy family, and I live in a place with a lot of birds. Previously, I was using shooting-grade earplugs for sleeping. In this review I will be talking about why sleeping earplugs will work better, even if they have slightly less noise cancellation. Shooting earplugs work great for blocking noise, but not for sleeping. They use a very stiff type of foam that will crinkle in your ear if you sleep on your side and it moves around or gets compressed by anything, like if it's sticking out of your ear and touches the bed. They are very firm and will put so much pressure on your ears that it can be painful and wake you up, and leave your ears sore the next morning. All of these issues get worse as they get older. Plus, all types of foam tend to deform and bloat in size really easily if you reuse them long enough, which makes foam earplugs very uncomfortable if it is a firm type of foam. Sleeping earplugs have NONE of these problems. The foam stays soft, even when it gets well-worn and bloated. There is almost no crinkling at all. Firm earplugs will crinkle for a very long time (10+ minutes) after compression. This is because the firmness makes them take a long time to regain shape. These soft ones regain shape almost instantly, and I only hear crinkling for 15-30 seconds after significant compression. Although these block slightly less noise than shooting-grade ones, it is worth it to avoid all the problems that super-firm, shooting-grade earplugs can cause. As you would expect from 3M, the foam also seems very high-quality and hasn't had flaking issues like I had with some other brands. These are perfect to wear for long periods of time. I can easily wear them for 10+ hours without feeling any discomfort.

If you have a narrow ear canal, and have enjoyed the comfort of the Howard Leight plugs, you will probably not be satisfied with these for sleeping. They aren't horrible (like many foam plugs are), so I am keeping them for use when mowing and blowing my lawn, but there is little chance I could ever sleep with this level of expansion pressure in my ear canal.

I moved somewhere next to a train for temporary work and these have genuinely saved me and given me the ability to sleep when I thought I otherwise would be ruined. I was using the ear pro I normally wear while djing before but those left me with lots of pain to use all night. Highly recommend these ones and thank you to the creators for giving me the chance to rest again! This and my noise cancelling headphones blocks out all noise.

These are literally the best insertable earplugs I've ever used. The sound is essentially blocked completely to the point where someone was ringing my doorbell and pounding on my door and I didn't hear a thing, and I have great hearing and can usually hear things through previous earplugs I've worn, but not these! I've worked in an industrial setting where hearing protection is required in numerous areas, and these are better than every version I've used in an industrial setting. I've also been able to wear these comfortably all day without feeling like I have to remove them to give my ears a break. Most insertable earplugs I have to take out every few hours to let my inner ear canal to rest, but I don't have that issue with these.

These are great and I continue to use them regularly. My only complaint (not enough to demote it to four stars) is that a decent amount (10+ per bag) are low quality. They are either deformed or not nearly as firm as they should be and they ultimately don't seal well.

Previously living in NYC for 10+ years surrounded by the 2nd Avenue subway construction out my windows for years on end, I desperately wanted anything to help me sleep. From melatonin to Bose Sleep Buds to wax, I've tried everything. I tried other disposable earplugs as well and nothing quite seemed to work. (Bose Sleep Buds felt invasive and felt the impression that I was being monitored through their app. Ear wax ended up getting stuck in one of my ear canals and cost $2oo to remove. Melatonin works though doesn't help BLOCK OUT noise.) It's hard to get any rest and BLOCK OUT noise when there are also some chatty neighbors, at times. ... These earplugs finally did it. They're not completely noise canceling though they did mostly work. They stayed in throughout the night. They weren't uncomfortable. For being highly sensitive, I'm so glad that I finally found something that 🙌 works! Well, well worth it.

I’ve been using this product for so many years but never seen a batch with as many defective plugs. There’s usually 1 defective in every 4 plugs but with this batch it’s more like 2 out of 3
