They will cook regular steel cut oats. It’s not going to be the same as minute or instant oats... I use a heat and stir process... I don’t leave it in more than 90 seconds at a time. I have had boil overs and had to clean a few messes. Microwaves are not all the same and it will take some trial and error. My cook times are different from the microwave at home and the one at work.
