10574 RED N Tacky GREASE/12X1

I’ve been using Lucas Oil Red ‘N’ Tacky Grease for years on everything from my pickup, 2013 BMW F800GT motorcycle, and various lawn tools (Echo trimmer, blower attachments, etc.). This 1-pound tub is the perfect size for a homeowner/DIYer who actually works on stuff instead of just watching YouTube. What I like: Extremely tacky — it clings to bearings, U-joints, chassis points, and pivot points without flinging off. Handles heat and heavy loads well. No issues with wheel bearings or high-pressure fittings. Works great in both hot Wisconsin summers and cold winters. Smooth consistency makes it easy to apply with a grease gun or by hand. I recently used it when servicing some suspension components and on garage door parts—zero complaints. The tub seals well and lasts a long time even with frequent use. If you need a versatile, high-quality red grease that actually stays put, this is it. Highly recommend for trucks, bikes, mowers, trailers, or any equipment that sees real work. Will definitely buy again when this tub runs low.

Bought this form my electric skateboard gear drive and bearings after a recommendation and it’s brilliant. Little pricey but totally worth it. I have ridden loads in the rain since using and have had no washout at all yet, previous grease I was using was washing out all the time despite saying it was waterproof. Excellent grease and I will only be using this stuff from now on.

Very happy with this product it does want I wanted it to do. But, as a word of caution for lightly loaded components it’s surface tension is enough to stop items from moving. Used in appropriate fashion it works well.

Great grease. I mainly use it for maintaining my bikes. Red N Tacky is more sticky and tends to stay where I put it, while also providing great water-repelling properties and corrosion resistance for metal-on-metal parts that need lubrication. As with most greases, it can attract dirt if heavily applied. Since I got the 1 lb / 16 oz container, it's quite large and will likely last me 3–4+ years when used only for bike components, which is about how long my last 1 lb container lasted. It's easy to use, although the hardest part is keeping the container clean. I like scooping a small amount into another container and working from that, so I can prevent the main container from getting contaminated. Overall, I think it's a great-value multipurpose grease. I've been using Red N Tacky for years without any issues. This is the newer improved formula, and to me, it seems slightly thicker than the older formula I used to use, no issues great grease..

Fantastic grease. Did exactly what I needed it to without breaking the bank.
