My 50lb husky loves these, but you should monitor your dogs while giving it to them. I gave my husky an oral hygiene chew the first time they arrived and she had a bit of trouble with it. She almost choked on a chunk of it but she managed to cough it out, so please just monitor your dogs if they have never had treats like these before. I was hesitant to give it to her again but I wanted to see if she would be able to manage this time, so I gave her another one the next day and she was super careful. It has been a few weeks now and she hasn't had any trouble with them after the first time. I still monitor her though, just in case. It keeps her busy for several minutes and she looks like she enjoys them.My 110lb German Shepherd, on the other hand, eats treats way too fast and tries to do the same with these chews and continuously tries to swallow them when there is a small chunk left. I have to monitor him really well, so when he gets to have a small chunk left, I just take it away from him.This might not be a good thing for everyone but I like that the oral hygiene chews come in different types of thickness because I give my husky the thick ones and my husky the thinner ones since he is impatient with them and they soften up faster. It works out great for my situation. Just be careful with these if you buy them for the first time.

Our vet recommended these for our 1-year old dog! We stopped giving her chew toys and nylon bones, because she would destroy them in minutes. We give her one of these every other day, and she consumes it quickly BUT it’s digestible and it cleans her teeth while she’s working on it. It’s a great companion to regular teeth brushing! She seems to like the flavor too! Much cheaper than replacing toys, and it doesn’t seem to have an odor at all, nor does it get all over the house, nor make a mess. Highly recommend!

My vet recommended the virbac CET chews, and they are quite expensive. These are a much more budget-friendly alternative. Even the largest size bag of the large virbac chews comes in at ~75 cents per chew. These are ~40 cents per chew. With two dogs (45lb lab mix and 55lb aussie mix), it adds up!! I really like that these take my dogs about 5-10 minutes to chew, vs every other style of dental chews we've tried that are gone in less than a minute. They do a great job keeping my dogs' teeth clean. Both my dogs have sensitive stomachs and these are well tolerated.

Great preventative chewie for most dogs, but not our pugs. It is right for the weight of our dogs, but they keep choking on it, trying to swallow the whole thing when it softens from chewing.

Well, I don't love them but my dog certainly does. We have tried every brand of rawhide dental chews on the market and this is his "hands down" favorite. He is a 31 lb. cocker spaniel who lives for the pleasure of eating and chewing. (Well, really, what else is there -trips to the vet and groomer?) I buy the medium size and they can vary quite a bit. Sometimes they're 3x3 in. and almost 1/4 in. thick. Others are 1 1/2 x 2 in. and paper thin. He actually prefers the tiny thin ones. Anyway, his teeth at 5 yrs. old are still sparkling white and tartar free. I'm not saying it's all because of these chews, but he does get one pretty much every day. He chews on a lot of things but I do think the enzyme treatment on these chews is helpful.

Honestly, my dog loves these and her teeth look great. My dog is 7 and was getting strong plaque buildup. She hates a toothbrush and the other derived chews gave her interesting bowel movements. I switched to these over a year ago and she enjoys them every morning after her walk. In fact she is waiting beside the bag when we return. She’s a strong chewer and they last 10-20 minutes.Yes they come in variable sizes, but I never feel ripped off. Glad they have these on subscribe and save, so I don’t have to remember to order them.
