OLIGHTBundle Odin Mini 1250 Lumen Picatinny Mount and M-Lok Rail Mount Magnetic Rechargeable Flashlight Kit

Ive used Surefire and other very expensive lights that failed on me in combat. This Olight product is very bright, highly durable, and very reliable. Love the magnetice recharging capability. Batteries for these kind of lights are very expensive and drain very fast. The rechargeable capablility is a great advance in this technology. If you are worried about loosing charge while using your light, dont, it holds a charge for a very long time. Plus, you could easily buy two lights to quickly swop out if one goes down. You could buy several lights for one Surefire. Why do Surfires have to cost almost as much as a weapon, ridiculous, its a tube with a light and battery. This product is a great buy. I have several and they are all high quality. Only drawback is that I believe they are produced in China but if someone else builds something better and cheaper let me know.

This is a pretty good light for the price. It’s not as clunky and bulky as I thought it might be, as most “affordable” flashlights are. It has some cool/unique features like a QD pressure switch and it vibrates slightly (like a cell phone only not quite as strong) when initially activated. Very bright and easy to set up with different mounting options using the same supplied mount. Really full featured light for the price.

Looking at Odin Mini equals 10 seconds of blindness, followed by 20 seconds of color spots. Don't even want to know what Big Odin equals...

I really love the quick disconnect and way to charge the battery with out having to remove it from the PEW PEW

The OLIGHT Odin Mini uses a customized battery instead of something more ubiquitous like a 18650. This is an issue for me. I want a backup battery (because you never know) so I had to buy a second from OLIGHT.Next, you’re going to need to purchase a rail for mounting the remote switch. As far as the remote switch goes, it’s backwards. It should be a long tap for constant ON/OFF and a quick tap for momentary ON/OFF. Instead, it’s reversed, the opposite. Trust me, you will need to develop an entirely separate muscle memory system to operate this light in high stress conditions. For the life of me I’ll never understand it. For the life of me I’ll never understand why any of these issues exist in a product in this price range. It makes absolutely no sense unless you’re intentionally trying to sabotage your own product.This “bundle” is anything but. A bundle suggests a complete system and even if you set aside the proprietary battery and the reverse remote operation, you’re still going to have to purchase separate mounting components for the remote.Finally, the light is further to the red end of the spectrum than any other LED light I’ve ever seen. It’s absolutely not a white light like every other LED light I’ve ever encountered and I own models from dozens of brands. It almost looks like an incandescent bulb and that’s no exaggeration.Now, the only caveat to this review is I purchased mine almost exactly one year prior to writing this, so perhaps OLIGHT has corrected some of these extremely troublesome issues. The thing is, according to the description as of this moment, nothing has changed.Buyer beware! Spend your money on a quality product because this is the perfect example of what happens when you try cutting corners.
