I've been looking for solutions to enlarged pores for years. I've tried SO many products and nothing works as well as this. After using it for about a week every night I noticed that my pores actually do appear a lot smaller because they are finally getting cleaned out. I did break out a bit at first like others have mentioned but this does subside and is just your skin purging out the gunk. Definitely a GOOD sign as long as it goes away. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, but I will react to things that are too harsh sometimes, and my skin never feels raw or damaged after using this tool, even though i use it every night. You can control how much pressure you apply on your own skin, too, so don't rub too harshly! A nice light brush over the skin with a cleanser works wonders. The little finger holder at the back actually works perfectly and it never slips off while cleansing, so it's incredibly easy to use. The brush also does not change form or ever look dirty and it's very easy to clean. I use gentle soap since silicone does break down with harsh chemicals. You really shouldn't have to replace these if you take care of them. Definitely not every few months. The material is sturdy and shouldn't break down unless you're using some harsh product to clean them. No need to add more waste to the earth when it's highly unnecessary. I think these brushes are actually a good solution to a low waste and inexpensive skin care routine because they will last forever and can replace other regular exfoliators in a skin care routine. All in all, I love this product and it's definitely true that it's a skin care game changer!
