Skog Bands: Heavy Duty Rubber Bands made from EPDM Rubber - 5col Survival Supply (Big Mix)

Ordered these per another user's recommendation to add a fuller grip to my Cold Steel Kobun knives. Because these knives have a thin design overall, these rubber bands are the perfect mod for a better grip if you desire. The bands are tough and somewhat difficult to stretch, so I used a pencil to help me stretch and rotate the bands into place. I have used these for several months and they are keeping up and actually softened up a bit for a nice fit. Highly recommended! and Made in the U.S.A.!

You'll probably never know what you'll need these for until you actually need one. When the battery cover cap on my well used laser golf distance finder kept falling out, I used one of these bands to hold it in place. That fix has been working for over a year now, and the band is as strong now as it was when I put it on. Sure beat spending a couple of hundred dollars on a new machine. I also stretched one of the small bands around a spare battery lengthwise to insulate the ends and prevent it from shorting out while it's floating around in my golf bag somewhere. If you use your imagination, you'll find a use for these at some point.

Definitely more than I need.

They work well, I am using them for securing communications and tactical items. The bands are strong, have reasonable stretch, match my gear. Vendor should avoid adding the fragrance - mine came with a very heavy perfume scent, maybe this was done to cover up a nastier chemical odor.

These are great cable organizers. Especially if you’re going to travel. They organize everything nicely. They also help with the straps on backpacks and book bags.

Having never purchased/used black survival rubber bands before, but wanting something that hopefully will not lose elasticity and disintegrate (only time will tell), my first exposure to these was surprise that they are not as stretchy as "regular" rubber bands. But more stretchy than slivers cut from bicycle inner tubes ;)

I ordered the medium size, because that is what I had ordered in the past, but what they sent me was the equivalent of almost extra small - they barely go around my thumb. I wonder what the small's look like.They previous one's I received definitely last - so that's a positive, but can't get over what I thing is false advertising in terms of size. I only gave a "4" in stretchiness, only because the smaller, thicker ones don't really stretch too much, which is understandable, but I just didn't feel comfortable giving it a "5". Maybe I'm still irritated with the size descrepancy compared to previous orders and even other similar bands.
