Ultimate Business Planner

This software is useless on Windows 8.1. While you can enter all the data, the printing/exporting feature completely fails and crashes every time you try to do it. Attempting to run in Windows XP compatability mode, or run as an Administrator (the standard changes that work for most old software), do not work with this software.This software is also reminiscent of something created in the late 90's, and seems not fully developed or completed.

I was looking for a faster way to write a business plan for my new business venture, so I searched for business plan software and bought Ultimate Business Planner. I wish I had this years ago for my first business plan. My favorite part about this software is the financial forecasting part (even though my least favorite part of writing a business plan is the financial part). This software asks you for your projected income and expenses first. Then it automatically makes all the financial statements you need like the profit & loss statement and balance sheet. In the past, one of the most frustrating things about writing a plan is when I would finish the entire written plan and then realize that it's not feasible financially. This software helps me to not procrastinate with the financials which results in not wasting my time with a new business idea that won't work. Since I've bought this software, I've found myself using it to play around with new business ideas to figure out which ones I should take more seriously and actually write a full business plan.
