Nice looking pedal that doesn't rattle.
These pedals are unserviceable. They are riveted together. Thats fine with me. They look old school for my cruiser with the black satin paint. Today I go out ripping...These pedals are smooth and quiet.

makes the wheels go round and round...
They are pedals. They do what pedals are supposed to do. I did like the fact that they came with adapters so they could be used as 1/2 or 9/16". They are also a more conventional pedal. I don't like the ones for racing bikes and mountain bikes, so I am pleased with these.

Bearings bad, quality poor
As others report, the spindle is overtightened. Spins VERY rough - not tight and smooth but tight and rough. Bearings won't last long. Also the plastic blocks are loose out of the box. These pedals wouldn't last a month. I used to like Sunlite products for price and value, this is a disappointment. Also it looks like these were already returned - probably for the same reason. So, they sent them to me. Now, back they go. Hopefully AMZN puts these in the trash behind the warehouse.

Good stuff, but ...
Putting these on is easy. Getting the old ones off, not so. Pedals that these replaced had been on the bike since it was bought. Also helps to remember: Right side pedal - right-hand thread. Left side pedal - left-hand thread. Helps to plan ahead and soak old pedals heavily with penetrating oil of some kind; repeat frequently for at least two days.

Very solid old school style pedal for one piece crank
Did the trick for my '85 Schwinn, which for some reason I'm trying to keep stock looking / period correct.

Look great, work...well, they spin
I'm rebuilding a 1970's Montgomery Ward tandem that I bought for $50 at a tag sale. The original pedals were trashed, and I got these to replace them. They had the right look and were relatively cheap.I can't belive how poorly these spin. There's lots of drag, and they don't turn smoothly at all. I'm going to use them, sincle this bike is more conversation piece than transportation. I wouldn't recommend these pedals if you actually want to ride somewhere.
