She and her nine-year-old sister both use this book as a handy guide to get ideas on how to draw different outfits when they draw characters. My girls are children, so their fine arts talent is limited presently, but this book isn't too complicated and inspires them - fuels them with options that are doable - and in a variety of styles. They also love just flipping through and picking their favorites on each page. It's more than just dresses too - shoes, jewelry, men's jackets, etc. etc. etc. I think this book has a lot of life for teaching them how to draw as they finesse their skills.
