## Description

The DMV Scleral Cup is an excellent tool to simply and easily remove and insert larger hard and scleral contact lenses as well as prosthetic eyes. FOR SCLERAL LENS REMOVAL - Squeeze the tapered handle of the DMV Scleral Cup and carefully apply it to the surface of the scleral contact lens. When the suction cup has been seated properly on the lens, release the squeeze pressure to apply suction and gently remove the contact lens from the eye. You may wish to place the Scleral Cup in the center of the lens. Remove the contact lens from the Scleral Cup by squeezing the handle again. FOR SCLERAL LENS INSERTION - Lightly squeeze the handle of the Scleral Cup and place the properly wetted contact lens on the open end of the cup. Gently position the contact lens on the surface of the eye. Squeeze the handle again to release the Scleral Cup from the lens. FOR PROSTHETIC EYE REMOVAL - Squeeze the tapered handle of the DMV Scleral Cup and carefully apply it onto the surface of the prosthetic eye. When the Scleral! Cup has been seated properly on the prosthesis, release the squeeze pressure to apply suction and gently remove the prosthesis from the eye socket. Remove the prosthesis from the Scleral Cup by squeezing the handle again. CLEANING: Wash the Scleral Cup frequently in warm soapy water and allow to air dry.

**Q: Does this product contain latex?**
A: What seems to be the same product by another seller says:  Made from natural rubber that is compounded with dry powdered latex. No liquid latex is used in these products. As a result, latex allergy tests show latex allergy to be below detection

**Q: Do these work with the large soft contacts with a rigid rgp center?**
A: Yes, it will work with the soft contact lens with rigid rgp center.  I have used the hybrid contact lenses (Synergy) in the past, but putting them on with my fingers is much easier than with this inserter.  This is more for scleral lens that needs to fit perfectly with no bubble, etc.

**Q: are these reusable?  If so, how do you clean them?**
A: Probably reusable. Just clean with regular eye cleaning solution.  The problem with these in particular is that I paid for them and they never sent them to me. They also wouldn't respond to any of my attempts to contact them.  It's a ripoff. My advice is to find another seller.

**Q: How do you get it to form a suction so that it removes your lenses? I cannot get it to form a suction. Is it supposed to have a hole in it?**
A: The smaller of the two (the one with just a round head, no hole!) Will automatically suction/hold the lens once you place it against the bottom half of the lens, then lift upwards and outwards from the eye with the lens remover. 
You can place the remover on the lens while it is not in your eye and see how well it holds.
you have to slide the remover to and off the edge of the lens to remove it from the lens! Hope I explained this well enough.
