PROlite Yoga and Pilates Mat

This Yoga Mat brand speaks for itself. Get this mat after several reviews and I wanted the longer version as I'm above 180cm. At the beginning, was skeptical about the slippery surface and boy it was really slipper when i first unpacked it. Just follow Manduka guideline on how to break in the mat and after the first try it sticky with a good grip. Its a life time investment and its a good buy. Also the one I got was made in Germany.

I recived the mat yesterday, not sure how it been stored, it was smelly so bad and it looks a bit dusty like its been used, and the thinks not as I see in the photo, I paid for it more that it expected.

I've dabbled in yoga before officially starting classes at my local studio, and knew that I needed to have a longer mat (I'm 6' tall). It was incredibly difficult task, but after finally finding this one... I can conclude that this mat is wonderful. It feels like a standard thickness, and it isn't too heavy for me to be carrying on the subway. The colour is a really striking aqua, which I wasn't sure I'd like but really is beautiful. It was worth every cent!

Gut verarbeitete Matte. Sie klebt regelrecht am Boden. Geruch und Verarbeitung völlig ok. Anfangs ist die Matte SEHR rutschig. Man muss sie gut einarbeiten, um darauf nicht mehr zu rutschen. Dann ist sie aber sehr griffig. Tipp (des Herstellers): Mit einem Essig-Wasser- Gemisch mit einem Topfschwamm abreiben, dann mit Wasser abwischen und in der Sonne trocknen lassen oder wie eine Art Peeling grobes Meersalz streuen und einreiben.

Arrivato nelle tempistiche previste, è un tappetino di qualità: mi è stato consigliato dalla mia insegnante di yoga che pratica da molti anni. Non ho avuto problemi di scivolamento (chi ha problemi di sudorazione a mani e piedi si consiglia di strofinarlo con un panno umido o di usare il sale, come descritto nella procedura ''break-in'', per la prima volta). E' un effetto che comunque, sparisce con l'utilizzo dopo alcune pratiche. Non è molto economico ma ne vale la pena, dura una vita! Consigliato.

ich habe sie zwar noch nicht so lange, aber meine Erwartungen wurden bisher erfüllt. Sie hat keinen unangenehme Geruch, hat für mich die ideale Länge, ist nicht zu weich und nicht zu fest und man findet einen guten Halt. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, da vertraue ich auf die lebenslange Garantie. Ich kann das Produkt empfehlen.

Please note, on the label attached they advised to break it in with water and salt. I would say, save water and salt and simply start using it (which is another option they recommended). I was glad to find a 200cm long. I am 182cm tall and every single standard mat is just a bit too small. I have to say this midnight blue colour is simply amazing! The texture is more smooth yet it sticks to the floor. I can compare it to my previous Manduka X mat which I really enjoyed for a few years. Manduka X had a very good non slip texture, but maybe for that reason every little dust or hair stuck and was very visible despite regular cleaning. Also the patten of the X - the rubber started to come off. A bit annoying as after every session the floor was left with black stuff around. Image how it looks in a neat and clean yoga studio 😢. Thus I decided I to go for PRO Midnight Blue and it is definitely my favourite mat and I love the colour (and not only mine) ! Recommend without hesitation. I have no affiliation with Manduka, but simply love the product! PS there is a lifetime warranty on it. perhaps I can have my old Manduka X mat repaired? I it started to leave black particles after a couple of years of use. I hope PRO will be better.
