Pleasant and familiar scent, not overpowering
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Sadly, I have used British Sterling cologne since the early 80’s and have found it can be hard to find and pricey when you do.I am thankful that it is available at Prime for a reasonable price!

The top was not secure and half the bottle was gone, otherwise smells great

Classic Scent, Not Long Lasting
It is the scent I missed but the scent does not linger long. Very perceptible after a couple of hours. But I really like British Sterling scent and it was still worth it to me. I first started using this when I stole some from my Dad about 55 years ago.

Legit product but price has gone way up
Been using the aftershave version so long I'd forgotten what the cologne smelled like. It's nice, a bit subtle, and lasts all day. It's brighter and more lively (it's what "splash" smells like in my mind) but still has a masculine note, where the aftershave is darker, smokier, more pronounced sandalwood and fades much more quickly. I like both in their ways. Glad I can still find it but a shame it isn't the same value as it'd been since the 80s/90s.
