Wir haben uns aufgrund der vielen guten Rezensionen (auch von ungeübten Tapezierern) für diese Tapete entschieden und sind fast verzweifelt.Es gibt keine Nummerierung auf der Rückseite, was bei einer Sternentapete echt hilfreich wäre. Aber das Schlimmste ist, wie stark sich die Tapete verzieht. Wir haben schon viel tapeziert, aber das noch nie erlebt. In der Anleitung steht, dass man die Wand mit wenig Kleber einstreichen soll, da die Tapete sonst zu wellig wird. Das haben wir gemacht, aber kaum kommt die Tapete überhaupt mit dem Kleber in Berührung, fängt sie an sich zu wellen und vor allem extrem zu verziehen. So bald man noch schiebt und drüber streicht, wird es noch schlimmer. Wie sehr sie sich ausdehnt wurde klar, als wir die zweite Bahn daneben hielten und diese plötzlich viel kürzer war. Natürlich dehnte sie sich auch aus, als sie mit Kleber in in Berührung kam, aber ein exaktes Anpassen an die erste Bahn ist dadurch nahezu unmöglich. Wir haben die zwei Bahnen wieder abgezogen, trocknen lassen und schließlich entgegen der Anleitung nicht die Wand, sondern die Tapete eingeschmiert und vorsichtig an die Wand gedrückt. Dabei so wenig wie möglich drüber gestrichen oder gerollt, sondern nur angedrückt. Damit wurde es besser und die Wellen haben sich über Nacht auch an die Wand gezogen. Aber man kann sich schon denken, was passiert, wenn sich eine Tapete so stark ausdehnt: natürlich zieht sie sich beim Trocknen wieder zusammen und man sieht dann die Stöße zwischen den Bahnen. Außerdem geht die Farbe der Tapete an den Stellen, wo Kleber drauf kommt, leider etwas ab.Von Weitem sieht es letztendlich sehr gut aus, aber näher ran gehen sollte man lieber nicht.Die 3 Sterne gibt es dafür, dass es schnell geliefert wurde, ein tolles NY-Poster dabei ist und die Fotoqualität der Tapete echt super ist. Das Bild sieht wirklich toll aus, aber an der Qualität der Tapete an sich muss für diesen Preis echt gearbeitet werden. Wir würden es nicht noch mal bestellen.

I'd give this a 2.5 if I could. Cons: The paper this mural/wallpaper was printed on is very thin. I would not call it wallpaper..I would call it just paper. It wrinkled and stretched quite a bit during application (also: it does not come pre-glued, which is not a problem, but just know you'll have to buy adhesive). Because it stretched, the edges did not line up perfectly on the wall, so I have to cut the edges to even it out. It bubbled a lot, again, because the paper was so thin and after wrestling with it for an hour or so, I just gave up and accepted that there were going to be some bubbles and wrinkles. They aren't that noticeable, so its not so bad. But yeah..really crappy paper. I also expected some sort of finish over the print, as it states that, but it was rather matte.Pros: color quality is what was promised. Despite the absolute headache of application and the poor quality of the paper, AND the uneven edges...the mural still looks pretty darn cool. I'll likely put some thin molding around the perimeter to mask the edges.Over all: I'm a bit bummed that I paid 50 bucks for this. I would have been LIVID if I'd paid 100 (like the slashed out price). I'd have been willing to pay a bit more for a higher quality paper, had I known. So..if you're patient with your wallpaper and can apply like a pro, go for it. If you're looking something easy to toss up, keep searching.

It’s not bad for the price you pay, instructions are clear and you just need any paste the paper adhesive, but it requires a lot of patience which I lack therefore only 4 stars, sorry. I would buy it again, but only if it would be paste the wall as it’s an easier way of wallpapering. TIP: after applying don’t worry too much about air bubbles as they disappear when completely dry.
