Definitely worth having if you have to clean the MAF sensor. As a word of caution please do not use Carb spray or throttle body cleaner on your MAF sensor as it leaves residue which can damage or report incorrect reading to the ECU. Use a dedicated spray such as this one or any other which is specifically meant for the sensor.

This product really works , used on a Lexus LS 430 car is definitely more responsive and pulls stronger. Recommend using this product whenever you can see dirt on the maf sensor

Den LIQUI MOLY Luftmassensensorreiniger (Art.-Nr. 4066) habe ich bei einem Fahrzeug mit leicht unruhigem Leerlauf und minimal erhöhtem Verbrauch eingesetzt. Der Luftmassenmesser ist ein sensibles Bauteil – entsprechend wichtig ist ein spezieller Reiniger, der rückstandsfrei arbeitet. Anwendung Ausbau des Sensors, vorsichtiges Einsprühen mit etwas Abstand – mehr ist nicht nötig. Das Spray ist farblos, trocknet schnell und hinterlässt keine Rückstände. Wichtig: Nicht mechanisch nacharbeiten, kein Tuch, keine Bürste. Einfach einsprühen und ablüften lassen. Wirkung Nach dem Wiedereinbau lief der Motor gleichmäßiger, insbesondere im Leerlauf. Auch das Ansprechverhalten beim Gasgeben wirkte spontaner. Natürlich ersetzt das keine Diagnose bei echten Defekten, aber bei Verschmutzungen durch Ölnebel oder Staub kann die Reinigung tatsächlich helfen. Qualität Typisch LIQUI MOLY: saubere Verarbeitung, gut dosierbarer Sprühkopf, keine aggressive Geruchsbelastung. Man merkt, dass das Produkt auf empfindliche Elektronik abgestimmt ist. Einordnung Der Luftmassenmesser beeinflusst Gemischbildung und Verbrauch maßgeblich. I used this spray for my Verna diesel MAF sensor which has not been cleaned since purchase around 16 years. The product is original and packaging was good n I thank Amazon for that. After spraying, the sensor became 100% clean n there was no traces of carbon or grime and engine drive was very smooth. I thank Amazon once again for delivering such an excellent product.

Used this on my MAF sensor after noticing rough idle and sluggish acceleration, and the results were immediate. The cleaner evaporates quickly with no residue and was very easy to apply. After reinstalling the sensor, the engine ran noticeably smoother and throttle response improved. What I like most is that it’s specifically made for sensitive air flow sensors, so I felt much safer using this compared to generic cleaners.
