Shipped quickly and was cheaper price than anywhere else selling this book "brand new." I bought this book to assist with a research paper for a college-level math course. This book provided everything I needed and was written in simple language that could easily be comprehended. This book provides real-world examples of how math can be found and applied in the natural world. As someone who greatly dislikes anything math-related, this book definitely changed my perspective in a positive way. I would recommend this book at the middle school and high school levels as well.

Ian Stewart is one of our favorite authors. He is able to talk about any mathematical topic to any audience.

I’m rediscovering mathematics and bought 'The Beauty of Numbers in Nature' as an early self-Christmas present. It’s a stunning book. The production values are through the roof (breathtaking full colour illustrations throughout will have you lingering, lost in wonder) but this is far more than eye candy; the writing and ideas Ian explores are deep and exciting. It’s a book I have no doubt I’ll return to.

Bought as a present for my nephew who is undertaking a PHD he found this book fascinating.
