Bachmann Trains E-Z TRACK REVERSING 9" STRAIGHT (4/card) - NICKEL SILVER Rail With Grey Roadbed - HO Scale

I bought extra tracks at the same time I bought an auto-reversing Bachmann HO scale kit for my trolley that I wanted to put into my Christmas scene. I should have waited to receive the kit first. The kit was a really cheap product and I would not have wasted more money on buying extra straight tracks. Although easy to assemble, you really need to be very careful inserting them without damaging the fragile pin connectors.

I have had a lot of experience with HO gage train track thought the years. I have built a permanent layout “from scratch” using the component pieces, and I have used E-Z Track for under the Christmas tree displays.E-Z Track is convenient because the roadbed and rails are combined, and it is sturdy enough to support the trains when it is laid over carpet. It not totally “easy” because you must line up the rails and sleeves properly to get the right connections and avoid derailments. That involves visual inspections and running you finger over the connecting points between each track piece to ensure that you have assembled the parts correctly.Given my experience, I found this product easy to use. I was concerned because I added a significant number of track pieces to the original set to achieve what I wanted to do. The back and forth motion of the trolley worked perfectly. If you expand the system, you have to buy the track pieces that go with this set. “Normal track” does not work. The only place where normal track is used is for the end pieces, and the trolley stops before it reaches that point. Overall this product was everything that I expected it to be.

This snaps together well and works. Would recommend.

Has brought great joy for us, going with the trolley.
