Review: Don't, DO NOT, in fact don't even THINK about buying this. - I bought this light hoping it would be better than the previous one I purchased on desertcart. This one was more expensive and I thought would be better. When I installed the light one of the bulbs didn't work on certain colours. I wrote the company that makes it. They asked for a picture/video of the light not working. I sent those in and got an answer back saying they would send me a new light. I waited and waited and waited. A month later, nothing. I called the company and was told "Sorry we can't send you a new one because you live in Canada and we are in L.A". Amazing service there. So I talked to desertcart and they wouldn't do anything either. I kept the light in and tried to use it. The lights started to go on by themselves, change modes and colours. Today, about 2 months after buying it the light completely died. This is a terrible product made by a horrible company and sold on a brutal platform. This one was more expensive and I thought would be better. When I installed the light one of the bulbs didn't work on certain colours. I wrote the company that makes it. It has all of the functions , colors, and control you could want. Want your own K.I.T.T.? This "kitt" is how you get that!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Knight Rider Scanner Light! *by O***Y on 19 February 2020* This Knight Rider Scanner Light far exceeded my expectations! Although it has many different lighting patterns, colors, and speeds, I only wanted the traditional "red" from K.I.T.T. that I grew up with in the '80's. Before buying, my biggest concern was having to use the included remote to turn it off and on. I was worried it would forget the setting I liked and make me set it up again and again every time I turned it on. I was happily surprised to discover that once a pattern / color / speed is set with the remote, the scanner remembers that setting even when disconnected from power. I have mine wired to turn on and off with a lighted toggle switch. I don't have to use the remote at all. The LED lights are very bright, and the light strip seems well sealed against water - which I will put to the test when I go to the car wash. The only distractors for me are that the wires from the control box to the light strip were shorter than I would have liked, and the control box was not sealed against moisture. I sealed it myself with a zip lock bag. I definitely recommend this item! ## Frequently Bought Together - iJDMTOY 20 inches 48-LED RGB LED Knight Rider Scanner Lighting Bar Compatible with Car Interior or Exterior Decoration - Yolu RGB LED Knight Rider Scanner Light Strip 22'' 48-SMD Multicolored LED Flash Strobe Grille Light Car Truck Interior Exterior Lighting - Nilight 12 Pack 12V Car Add-a-Circuit Fuse Tap Standard Mini Micro2 and Low Profile Taps 4 Types ATO ATC ATM APM Holder for Cars Trucks Boats --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/256648387-ijdmtoy-20-inches-48-led-rgb-led-knight-rider-scanner](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/256648387-ijdmtoy-20-inches-48-led-rgb-led-knight-rider-scanner) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
