Gave to husband for Christmas, he loved it and was so excited to use. Rinses it and makes a cup of coffee, within seconds coffee is starting to form on the counter. The bottom must have a hairline crack because you cannot see it with the naked eye. He didn't want me to return it, so it's being used as a pencil holder on his desk.

Wish pieces were bigger, bought for childhood play in kitchen hope durability is good.

This mug is made with heavy duty stoneware and made to last. This is for the serious coffee drinker! The mug is tall and just as described by the seller. The walls of the mug are thick, trapping the heat of the drink so your coffee will stay warmer longer. Would definitely order this product again. Oh, and seller sent this item from NY to CO in only 3 days! Awesome customer service!

This is big. Measure 17 oz of water into any of your other 'big' mugs to see how it stands up. It is an odd shape, but I bought it for my son and he loves it.

It's a pretty good mug. I bought this to keep my late grandfathers shell casings from his funeral and it works perfectly. He was a navy veteran 1952-1956. I will say it was a bit spendy though.
