Hydrion Water Finder Tester 1/2 Inch Wide by 50 Foot Roll

Tried it with a 5 gallon gasoline can. It works..When testing for water make sure your sample is from bottom of gasoline can.Water is heavier than gasoline.

This test paper works exactly as advertised. Put it in water, it turns pink; as simple as that. Has been incredibly useful at checking for leaks in cracks and hard to reach places. Plumbers should use this instead of their fingers to test for leaks!

It works perfectly for tracing water leaks

Changes to bright color when wet. Good for a quick visual inspection for moisture. My only wish is that she color would stay after it dries. I'd like to know if there had previously been moisture since the last time I checked.

This product I thought was great until I realized the color change isn't permanent. So it gets wet, changes to pink and when dries goes back to white. That's useless for me to monitor areas in my house that I can't check hourly .
