Really nice finishing powder. I use it to set my concealer and foundation and it doesn't crease or settle in the fine lines around my eyes. Really happy with this setting powder and it doesn't contain Talc. Worth every penny Great deal for the amount of powder you get. The yellow tone isn't overwhelming and really matches my skin tone well. I love how much it brightens my highlight. Way better than Ben Nye for sure Finally a TALC FREE setting powder! Love it so far. I just wish there was a way to lock the product in the jar the way the bare minerals products lock. When you get the product, just peel part of the sticker off. If you peel the whole thing off you will have to deal with a big mess everytime you use the product. This should come with more stickers for when it comes off or better yet a turn and lock system. But as for the powder I'm super happy with it- it has no talc and works amazing. I love the velour sponge also. A much better bang for ur buck than say, laura mercier. Will probably take me ages to get through this jar but I would repurchase. Also, about the color, reading the reviews made me confused that this might be too dark but the color is almost translucent. It has the slightest yellow color to it. I am the color Light in bare minerals and am usually the 2nd or 3rd lightest shade in a foundation. This color is light and brightening for me. I think this color may only be too dark for someone who is extremely pale with cool toned skin, otherwise I imagine that it would suit anyone from light to medium skin.

This stuff was pretty terrible if you dislike an unnatural "glow". First things first. I used Bare Minerals Hydrating mineral veil for years and it's AMAZING. It's tinted so it doesn't give off that strange glittery glow that a lot of "translucent" powders give. It doesn't "glow" in a strange unnatural way, and underneath Urban Decay's All Nighter, it's perfectly light and natural in person and makes photos looks flawless. Unfortunately, it's not vegan so I was looking for a replacement, and the reviews on this stuff made me think I was getting something pretty good and I liked that it's tinted, so I hoped it wouldn't make me look like a glitter bomb exploded on my face. That's not what I got. This stuff is super "cakey" in its loose form, and it's difficult to get the powder to separate onto a brush, which basically means clumps of it end up on my face. I tried my fanning brush which I normally use with setting powder, because I like it to be light and basically to just set in the spray and makeup without an oily looking shine. It still went on cake-y. I tried my foundation brush and that was worse, which was to be expected. This stuff is shiny as hell too, which sucks. Sometimes I'd catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror (I gave this stuff a try for two weeks) and just feel embarrassed about how shiny I looked. Not oily. Just shiny, and the shine didn't match my skin color either, even though the powder does actually match. My thought was that maybe this is the kind of setting powder people use when they just want to look good in photos. But it's not, because it made me look shiny in a week's worth of vacation photos. Honestly, this feels like more of a photo-finish highlighter than a setting powder. Two thumbs down.

I liked the fact that it was affordable and on the chart before I purchased it , it said it was good for all skin types I just wish it was more yellow / banana tint like the nyx banana powder .I think it’s good to start but I also did try mixing the setting powder with another w7 banana powder I haven’t found the banana powder I love yet . Laura mercier is nice but when I bought it years ago it was too drying for my skin. So when buy keep in mind what kind of skin type you have I think this is good for dry to combo skin only because it’s not so drying depending on the skin prep and foundation you apply. When I buy a setting powder I like it for to be on on lol I want to try the Huda Beauty if you have any recommendations please let me but I do like this setting powder still I think it’s a great start and good for a beginner ! I also have their black beauty blending sponge I loveeee it it’s soft light weight not so heavy on the inside. Like you can actually feel like you are pressing into the sponge compared to some other blending sponges I’ve bought in the past
