The Intex Trolling Motor is a 420W, 12V electric motor designed specifically for Intex inflatable boats and compatible models. ## Description

The Intex Trolling Motor is the perfect addition to an Intex boat, and is able to fit most Intex boat models, including: the Challenger 3; the Seahawk 2, 3, 4; the Excursion 3, 4, 5 and the Mariner 3 and 4 boats. This extremely quiet motor has a digital maximizer control module and water cooling system that supply only the necessary power this motor needs in order to go the desired speed making the motor more efficient and providing longer running times. The boater will be able to, more effectively, control the boat speed in changing environments as well. The motor's "Soft Start" function helps to increase the motor's life through limiting how fast the motor can go from "OFF" to "ON." Suitable for freshwater and saltwater adventures, the tilt⁄extend tiller makes handling a breeze and the weed escape mode helps the motor get out of weed tangles.The Intex Trolling Motor is compatible with most inflatable boats that have built-in motor mount fittings. Includes: A control panel with the following controls: Battery meter, automatic escape weed control key, dry operation protect, overload protect. A: The owners manual says 40lbs ot thrust. Hope that answers your question.

**Q: does the come with the battery connectors cords?**
A: Yep

**Q: What battery will be best for this in the excursion 5**
A: I am not a professional expert, but I understand that batteries are either engineered to deliver a short period of high current (a car battery), or a sustained steady current (marine).  When I visited Walmart (batteries should be purchase locally for safety) batteries were clearly marked as such, but more point-of-sale information would have even welcome.  Incidentally, my research did indicate that regular maintenance was crucial to obtain an optimal life.  Have fun with your boat, and stay out of that cursed weed!

A: No it does not come with the motor mount. That you have to buy seperate

Hello, I bought this Intex trolling motor for years now and it works great, the only problem I have in countered is the battery meters, because when the motors starts the operation it display full bars, but when it started moving it will suddenly drop into 1 bar only.. I got scared to go far because I'm thinking I'm running out of battery... The rest is perfect... Hope somebody from Intex company could resolve this issue thanks #uaedubaiuser
