Aunque es una botella pequeña para el precio, me di cuenta de que es posible usar un solo algodón para toda la mano ya que no se seca a diferencia de la acetona que se seca y en promedio son de 5 a 7 algodones por mano. Hay que frotar repetidamente para que el producto retire el esmalte, sin embargo cumple con el trabajo de proteger mi piel y cutículas así que no me quejo

I've been searching for a nail polish remover that doesn't destroy my nails or skin, but I didn't think it was possible to find one that doesn't abuse my olfactory senses. After reading MANY reviews for a multitude of brands, I read one review that led me away from the brand I was about to select, and it brought me here to ella + mila. The price was a little more than I wanted to spend on such a small bottle, but I decided to give it a try anyway. After all, I haven't had any luck with larger bottles at a lower price point. I just opened my bottle today and used it for the first time. The scent was not strong and offensive, but pleasant and almost citrus-y. It was so gentle, I thought it wasn't working, but I continued to wipe each nail. I noticed that it left behind a silky oil, like cuticle treatment oil. I rubbed it in and then washed my hands to see what was left behind. To my amazement, my nails were perfectly clean, my cuticles and skin around my nails were soft, and there was no damage or discoloration whatsoever! I absolutely LOVE this brand, and I will buy it over and over again!! I highly recommend this to anyone who cares about their skin and the air they breathe!

I recently started painting my nails on a regular basis. I started out using an inexpensive, acetone-free polish remover, then tried an acetone-based product that came as a part of a kit from an online retailer. After a few weeks, I noticed my nails were chipping and breaking more easily. I wasn't sure how much was due to the polish versus the remover, but decided it was worth giving this product a chance -- and I am glad I did! Compared to the other polish removers, this one does take a little longer to get started, but after letting it soak in for a short period, the polish comes away easily. I've been using a cotton ball soaked in polish remover; for the other products, I would use one soaked cotton ball for each hand, then a third to get rid of the peskiest bits of polish that didn't want to come out from around the cuticles. With the ella+mila product, I only have to use one to get both hands completely clean; a small amount goes a long way compared to other products. It does have a bit of a greasy feel, but I found that to be a benefit compared to other polish removers. I use a lot of glitter polishes; the other products would drip down my hands during removal, resulting in glitter dripping down my fingers, and some inevitably ending up in my sink, necessitating an additional sink clean-up afterward. Although this product does get all over my hands (I could probably get away with using even less than I have been) it doesn't leave any residue of polish or glitter, and it doesn't drip at all, sparing my sink a mess. I tend to get a lot of cuts & scratches on my hands, so I also appreciated that this product did not sting, in addition to avoiding the harsh, unpleasant smell associated with the other polish removers. All in all, I've found this product to be well worth the extra cost. I expect this little bottle to last me quite a while, but I'll be back for another when the time comes.

Very gentle on the nail. No smell. Expensive but good alternative to acetone.
