I bought these looking for an alternative for my Harbinger lifting grips which I lost, I had the harbinger for about 2 years and never had an issue with them, mostly used for heavy lifts as in dead-lifts and shrugs. Now the Cobra Grips, they do look amazing and more sophisticated than the harbingers, but I found the Velcro lace too long and distracting at times, and it required a lot of tightening to get the desired grip. Seems like the padded gel pad in the harbingers worked better for the heavier weights as well, and the lifting piece was a little bit longer than the cobras, which made it better for wrapping around the bar. TL;DR, Cobras do the job, but I'd get another Harbinger next time.

While the grips are great quality and nicely padded, they are very thick and cumbersome to put on. Returned and perefer something "lighter"

The leather Pro grips look great and are well-built. The thick neoprene cushion, the strong velcro strap and the heavy steel buckle all contribute to a very well-fitting, supportive lifting grip. The leather itself feels nice and grippy. I switched from a cheap no-name brand lifting grips to these, and the quality is a world of difference. I like that they come with a breathable pouch, so the grips aren't rolling around in your gym bag. I think these grips are an essential tool for the serious lifter. Don't let your grip strength be the limiting factor in how much weight you lift. I uploaded a video so you can get a better idea of the build quality and looks of these grips. Highly recommended.
