You can work up to leaving it on for about ten minutes total with five layers but listen to your skin on the first application. The recovery time is very Mininal for glycoic. You'll notice some redness and red splotches on some parts if your face that should only stay for about 30-40 minutes after you are done. You will notice small flakes appear on your skin around 3-5 days after. Make sure to use moisturizer during the first 2-3 days after the peel. **Q: will my skin peel off as big pieces after the application 3 days?** A: Not necessarily. Not all of our products will have a visible peeling effect, however this does not mean the product is not working.
