Outside of materials being different, and the overall concept having some major differences, they are similar in what they are designed to do. However, the folding and the leather will make the Belroy start out as a thicker wallet. Adding cards and cash to it will just make it that much thicker. The basics starts out thin with materials and once you add cards to it, it just increases in thickness incrementally. Price is also a significant difference between the two. I think for an everyday wallet, and the intention of staying as slim as possible, the basics wins in all categories. You could essentially buy three basics for less than one of the Bellroy's. **Q: How do you best wash this?** A: I’m not sure I’d put it in the washing machine, as that would not be appropriate for the materials in my opinion. I have read reviews and FAQ and some people have gently washed or cleaned I should say with a damp cloth. I have a black one so obviously the black is goin to look cleaner as opposed to my grey Nomatic ## Frequently Bought Together - NOMATIC Wallet for Men and Women: Slim Minimalistic Wallet with Durable Materials, Easy Access Pull Tab, Cash Pocket, and Holds 4-14 Cards – Perfect for Professional or Casual Use - Modern Carry Quick Draw Minimalist Wallet for Men & Women, Elastic Band Minimal Credit Card Holder with Leather Tab, Business Card Holder, Money Clip Alternative (Black) (Black) - Modern Carry Elastic Minimal Card Holder, Ultra Thin Minimalist Wallet for Men & Women, Credit Card & Business Card Holder, Slim Credit Card Wallet --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/256498244-nomatic-mens-slim-minimalist-wallet-everyday-carry-card-holder-keys](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/256498244-nomatic-mens-slim-minimalist-wallet-everyday-carry-card-holder-keys) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
