Perfect for transporting a double bass bow.
I’m using this as a carrying case for a double bass bow! I have no idea how it works for a pool cue, but it is perfect and protective for a 1/2 size French bow. The little pouch that is meant to hold chalk is a perfect fit for a container of rosin. My daughter carries her bow to school every day, and this case keeps the bow dust and damage-free. The smooth black leather lets her decorate the outside with stickers. All in all a great product for musicians as they wait for their CUE. Ha ha, see what I did there?

It's decent as a first cue case, bad stitching and not enough thickness at the bottom of the case
The stitching made round shape look octagonal especially at the bottom of the case. The pouch's oval shape is not rounded with a few pointy ends.It feels hard enough to protect from outside damage and soft inside to keep your cue well cushioned. However, the bottom of the case where it touches the ground if you stand it vertically, is kind of thin. It's an area that would wear the most and I would not be surprised if it's the first to give.A similar design would cost half as much for where I reside, I thought it would be of a higher quality through Amazon, but apparently it's similar and made in China just with a Casemaster branding.Overall it's a decent case if price is not part of the consideration. It does a good job protecting the cue but do watch out for wear at the bottom of the case, it might get roughed up through contact with the ground and you wouldn't want your tip to be damaged.
