HiTow Dual Hitch Receiver Extension Adapter Trailer Towing Extender (GTW 4,000 lbs)

The first time it worked great second time I used it with a simple harbor freight rack and my generator that weighs 200 pounds this bent I was told a trailer it probably would’ve lost the trailer there’s amount of bending it I’m very disappointed I do hope the manufacture will either replace or refund the money to make things right

We had this hitch on our motorhome for 3 months, holding a 300 lb scooter (well under the rated weight) Driving on a interstate it cracked, leaving us on the side of the road to take it off. It's clearly cheaply made and very dangerous. Would not recommend and am asking for a refund.

I just passed my return window and the receiver piece bent the first time I used it, maybe the company will replace it but I would not suggest buying it, it looks pretty heavy but all we had on it were to Walmart bikes, I’m wondering if it’s a defective piece of iron

This item solved my problem! I have a RAV4 with a 2" receiver but my cargo tray hangs too low to clear dips in the road (usually around curbs) and scrapes the street. This extension will give 7" of clearance that will avoid future scraping, plus it sets the carrier away from the back door enough to actually access the door to reach something in the back. The 7" height gained is still low enough for the door to clear the extension. I like that there are two rising posts instead of just one, which some other similar products lack. That should add enough strength for even the heaviest cargo tray like mine.

I don't know what I expected but this adapter is HEAVY! It is built very well and very heavy duty. Weight is an issue with me. I bought it to extend our storage platform on back of our RV. It is so heavy and added about 10" of leverage I was worried about using it especially to add a bike rack. It is now a garage paper weight.
