My experience with this material is that it works as intended. If you are starting, I would choose a less dense model from their line up, as this one fatigues my hands after about 10 minutes (I am 45). It does leave a residue on your hands, something akin to silicon feeling. No harm, just wash your hands afterwards or use hand-sani.

Exactly what you think it is.

The container looks different than Amazon's picture, but I'm pretty sure it is the same product. They both show the name Rolyan. I'm not clear on the relationship between Sammons Preston (company name in the product listing) and Performance Health (shown on my container), but based on some internet searching, they do seem to be the same company; maybe one company bought the other, or it's known by different names in different countries. The "firm" blue putty itself is a lot firmer than my old blue putty, but I think that's because it softens over the years. I weighed it at 4.19 ounces, so they actually provided a bit extra.

Was referred to the hand therapist to restore full motility in my fingers after the injury. This was one of the products that they recommended. Have been using it at home for 30-40 minutes every day when reading or watching TV for the last couple of weeks. I use a different device (Gripmaster Hand Exerciser) at work and I can see some improvement in my fingers motility already.

Needed this when i broke my wrist. It is a bit hard so i might recommend one that is slightly softer
