Bradt Travel Guides Kyrgyzstan

After living there for almost a year, I can say that it is slightly out of date. But for most people that shouldn't matter too much. A good read that gets the important stuff right.

A reason I always buy a Bradt when I travel off the beaten path is because it gives excellent advice on finding a private guide. I’ve travelled with a friend through Ethiopia and Mongolia and now Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan and have had excellent experience using the guidance of Bradt travel books.

Très complet et pratique pour organiser le voyage.

Il Kyrgyzstan è un paese ancora non interessato pesantemente dai flussi turistici. Probabilmente per questo non sono presenti delle guide dedicate solamente a questo paese. La proposta della Lonely Planet comprende tutti i paesi dell'Asia Centrale e non entra nel dettaglio del Kyrgyzstan come lo fa questa guida. Usata durante un viaggio del 2023, ho trovato tutte le informazioni storico-culturali ma anche organizzative, per gestire gli spostamenti in un paese che non fa dell'organizzazione il suo fiore all'occhiello. Entra nel dettaglio di tutti i luoghi visitabili in Kyrgyzstan, descrivendo posti che la Lonely neanche menziona. L'unica nota negativa, per noi italiani, è che è disponibile solo in lingua inglese.
