I used this product on my whole face while I avoided areas with facial hair. It did not hurt and came off in one piece. I do like to apply a the mask a bit thicker than most so it peels off nicer. This means I do need to wait a little bit longer, a little over 30 minutes. After I peeled it off my skin felt nice and I was able to see the gunk from my pores on the mask… It is always amazing to see how dirty my face was!

It works, but the application is a bit tricky. If you apply too thin a layer, it doesn’t peel off evenly; too thick, and it takes a very long time to dry—more than 30 minutes in my experience. Use a cotton round to remove the residue.

I don't think it's really doing much to clean the pores because it peels off pretty easy after it dries. Can't really say if its working or not, I don't see much on the product after I peel it off.

It’s a decent quality charcoal mask for price the applicator works well. But It goes on thinner than professional used product. And doesn’t peel/remove blackheads as well. I feel like the masks used by and put on by barber goes on thicker dries, thicker and and also is harder to peel Those get the blackheads and small hairs better. But this is acceptable for price
