The package with hooks is filled with a scented oil. What do you do with this?

The scent sticks sweats the scented oil. You can try to roll each stick in the oil to make the scent stronger and last longer, but it has no special purpose other than it is excess oil

How long will these last unopened? I didn’t receive my package till after the holidays and want to know if these can be saved till next Christmas

I'm sure they'll still be potent. When I pulled out my indoor wreath prior to the 2020 holiday, I could still smell the Scentsicles mistakenly left in it from the prior year.
