Rock solid, with one exception....
You can't beat these for securing a load, tire, extra fuel, water, Aunt Edna?? These fit with no exception. I used these on a Rhino-Rack Pioneer platform. As with anything Rhino-Rack (with the exception of the aluminum platforms) THEY WILL RUST, even with no salt or chloride. When you receive them or the ladder brackets or whatever.....give them a good washing in solvent or strong alcohol and a couple coats of rust resistant spray paint and you should be good for a few years. Rhino-Rack products are excellent quality, but the finish isn't powder coat as they claim, strong alcohol will bubble up the paint.
