There is nothing like going back to the old tried and true can opener I used during my childhood instead of the electric can opener plus this one doesn't take up much cherished counter space. I bought an electric can opener but decided to send it back, even though it was less expensive than this one.

Going from a $3 cheap can opener to this one felt like an upgrade to first class. I never expected a can opener to make me so happy, but I swear this one put a smile on my face the first time I used it.It opens cans like they are butter and leaves a smooth edge on can as it goes. As someone with challenges with their grip and wrist pain I had no issues using this! Worth noting, though not enough to remove a star, the lid itself once removed often has a sharp bit where the opener first pierced the edge. Care should be taken when handling the lid regardless.I felt ridiculous spending over $25 on a can opener when I could just pop to the super market and get one for $3-4 but this was honestly money well spent!
