Pop Screen works perfect
Perfect for our mic stand

Surprisingly well made for the money
I was looking for a pop filter that wasn't so big it would obscure my face when I'm on video. Because I have a Shure SM7B, you have to talk close into the mic. This pop filter is exactly what I needed. It's just a little wider than the mic. It seems very sturdy and well made -- more so than my other pop filter than I bought directly from Shure, in fact. It wouldn't be useful if you were using a more sensitive microphone that you're supposed to talk into from a distance. The surface area would be too small to act as a proper shield. But for my purposes, it's perfect.

Killer product with a short neck
I agree with many of the other reviews here. Really nice build quality and ideal plosive rejection. you can blow directly into it and feel NO air on the other side, but high frequency reduction is negligible if any. The smaller size is awesome, it's got a great look with bottle-style and top-address mics generally, where the standard 6" filters look oversized. The gooseneck is too short for many applications, however and I generally have to put it on a second stand or rig up some kind of weird system of extensions to get it in place. Put a longer, stiffer gooseneck on it and this is a world-beater product.

The Best "Plosion" Screen For Shure MV7+ Microphone
Absolutely perfect "plosion" screen for the Shure MV7+ microphone. I bought a SM7b wind sock at the same time, for comparison (the stock pop filter on the Shure MV7+ is absolutely worthless at stopping plosions). The SM7b wind sock performed great at removing plosions, but it also muffled a lot of the natural voice. This metal w/foam inner pop filter removes the plosions (whether or not you keep the stock MV7+ pop filter on/off) without any noticeable loss to the natural sound of the voice. I can't recommend this enough, I'd say go with this or try out the standard SM7b pop filter if you're not a fan of gooseneck pop filters (the "not" wind sock version, i haven't tested it out myself but I hear it works well). The clamp attaches easily to the neck of the MV7+ mic, super easy to put on/take down, and has rubber pads on the clamp to prevent scratching the surface.

Too short to work on my system
I don't know what's so hard about making a professional-looking pop filter. They are either massive devices that cover half my face when talking; or they are like this product, large enough to cover a microphone, but with a gooseneck arm too short to make it useful? There is only one place on my system where this device can be attached, and that's on the thing that connects the microphone to the boom arm. And then, it can only come over the top, which means the cord is in my line-of-vision. So there is no way I can read a script. If I touch the device for any reason, even incidentally, it fall off or comes in contact with the microphone itself. The sound quality is wonderful. I did a test before and after applying the filter. There is a noticeable difference. I do not know why pop filter manufacturers don't make devices that attach directly to a microphone itself so that if you move the microphone, the pop filter moves with it.

Great quality and very good price point
Well constructed, all metal and flexible to mold to your position. The screen secures very nicely to your mic stand

Solid for podcasts!
I use this for podcasts. It’s awesome along with the Rode PodMic! It’s cheap, but doesn’t feel that way. Stays in place, just not the longest. I made it work though, and it’s clean-looking, so I’m happy with it!
