How big is the packaging?

Not that big. It may vary depending on how they folded it, but it certainly won't get that small ever again! It was a while since I got it, but I believe it was less than 2'x1'x1' if I recall correctly. Great item, and my kids love it! Durable and hasn't gotten any mold or mildew either.

What is the inflated size

Approximately 5 feet in diameter

The difference between an inflation speed safety valve & a boston valve? it doesn't appear airhead uses the same inflation valve for all their tubes?

Correct. One is a basic valve that can be inflated with most pumps, easily opened and deflated. The other is a screw in valve that is slightly more complicated.
