Q: About how many slices do you get?

The pans are 10 inches long. If you cut the slices 1 inch thick you would get 10 slices.

Q: How long and what temperature should the layers be baked?

Recipe temp was 350, I cooked at 340. I think each layer took about 10 minutes. The cake I baked was from scratch, so it was a little finicky. The pans were wiped clean, cooled and re-sprayed before being reused.

Q: Was really excited for these cute cakes but they turned out dry! should it be a lower heat? less flour? more egg?

You need to turn the heat down in the oven for these pans since they are dark and nonstick. Try using your oven at 325 instead! Glad to be of some help

Q: Has anyone found cake boxes and cake boards for this size cake?

ive just used a regular box of cake... it probaly would turn out better if you didnt use the whole box. it raised a little over the rim of these cake pans..i used fresh whip cream in between cakes was delicious but it was huge.
