## Description

This Goldwood Sound 8 ohm 10 inch driver has a max wattage of 220 watts and is designed and engineered right here in the USA. This woofer features a 20oz magnet with bumper plate and vented pole piece. The poly laminated cone has a rolled foam surround. This woofer is a high end, pro audio transducer optimized for all musical instrument, DJ, car audio and professional applications.

Review: Great inexpensive replacement woofer for my old speakers - I have a pair of Radio Shack T120 tower speakers I purchased back in the ‘80s. I had replaced the 10” woofers about 20 years ago because the foam surround became so dry and brittle the foam just disintegrated. Now another 20 years later the same thing happened. This time it was easy to find a decent replacement on desertcart without breaking the bank. The original woofers had a unique frame design so the holes don’t really fit the new speakers. I bought these little metal brackets (I think they were mirror clips, too long ago to remember) and they clamp the woofer snugly. I’m quite happy with these 3-way speakers and I think they sound much more natural than a lot of more expensive speakers that you can buy today. The Goldwood woofers seem to be well made and the bass frequencies sound great and I haven’t even played them long enough to break them in. So they should sound even better after a few more hours. I’m using an old Onkyo TX-8511 receiver and the woofers should easily handle the power at the moderately high volume I usually play. I don’t hear any noise or distortion. I’ll update this review later when I’ve had a chance to really put them to the test. So far I think these woofers are a great value!

I’m quite happy with these 3-way speakers and I think they sound much more natural than a lot of more expensive speakers that you can buy today. The Goldwood woofers seem to be well made and the bass frequencies sound great and I haven’t even played them long enough to break them in. So they should sound even better after a few more hours. I’m using an old Onkyo TX-8511 receiver and the woofers should easily handle the power at the moderately high volume I usually play. I don’t hear any noise or distortion.
