Need a white primer coat.
You need a primer coat for this touch up paint. It’s the correct finish color but translucent so you must use a white primer.

Thin transparent product
Used it for touch up on a small area that the chip went down to the base coat. Product is so thin that it takes 5 or more coats. The paint match wasn’t even close. Chip looked better.
