Taco vs Burrito has officially become one of our go-to games for family night! What looks like a simple, silly food-themed card game turns out to be incredibly fun and addictive. The rules are super easy to learn — we were playing within minutes — and each round is quick, usually around 10–15 minutes. The action cards keep things unpredictable, and we were laughing the whole time. Kids love the theme, but honestly the adults had just as much fun. It’s a great balance of luck and strategy, so every game feels different. The quality of the cards is great, the artwork is cute and funny, and the compact size makes it perfect for travel or parties. We’ve already played it multiple times and it hasn’t gotten old at all. It’s also impressive that the original idea came from a young creator — you can tell it was made with a lot of creativity. If you’re looking for a light, fast, and entertaining game that works for both kids and adults, this is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

This game can be played fast and straight forward, or you can use it to teach kids the value of a poker face and a waiting game. Holding the card to swap tacos until the very end when kiddo thought they were hands down going to win by all the x2 cards is a spectacular parent move, and teaches them to trust no one :) Once the tears dried, and the childhood rage kicked in, we must have played about 4 more hands while they practiced their ruthless playing skills. I was proud. Cards are quite funny, easy to throw into a card deck box and take with you, and you really don't need the taco/burrito holders if you are on the road b/c you can just lay those cards down. VERY fun, and the additional blue add on pack they sell makes it even more fun. Watch out for that health inspector card! Highly recommend.

I bought this for my 7-year-old's birthday and it was an instant hit. The rules are super easy to learn - even my youngest (age 5) picked it up after one round. Basically you're just building the best taco or burrito by adding ingredients and trying to mess up your opponent's meal with hot sauce or other "attack" cards. My kids stay engaged, and games only take about 15-20 minutes so nobody gets bored. The artwork is colorful and silly, which the kids find hilarious. It's also compact enough to throw in a bag for road trips. Overall, it's a solid choice for families with elementary-age kids. Gets them off screens, teaches basic math (adding up points), and actually makes them laugh. Worth the price for sure!
